When referring to the stock market, a bullish market is one that is just beginning to see a rise in prices. Usually this indicates optimism and investor confidence.

With so much talk about a depression, in today’s stock market a bullish trend does not necessarily follow results from a Bullish Market trend in previous years.

Investors have seen huge fluctuations in the markets the past several months. In fact, while the Dow Jones can experience the lowest Bearish Market indicators one day, the next it will often rally and start its way back towards being bullish.

Worried traders who act on speculation and psychological factors make the situation more volatile. Even experienced investors often have a hard time predicting market turns in this situation.

Trade Timing is The Key To Investing

It only makes sense that when the bear market has reached its ultimate low, that a Bullish Market will occur next. Being in the proper position to buy before pricing spikes is key. Savvy investors will be prepared.

Accurate anticipation of the market turning from its lowest point to the upswing is a trait that comes only from experience. Watch the professionals investors in order to figure out just when they think the stock market has hit bottom. Buying into the best stocks before prices spike is the only way to make a good profit.

The Stock Market Precedes the Economy

While it may be difficult to understand, the truth of the matter is that stock market movement precedes a change in the economy.

Savvy traders base their investing strategies largely on what is happening in the financial world. They pay attention to such current news as the fiscal stimulus package going forward in the United States, and the market reactionary trends in inflation and interest rates.

These trends and how they affect market pricing directly affects the global economy. High inflation and low growth will increase demand.

For any investor, buying at a point before the Bullish Market occurs is the best way to make a profit. However, accurate predictions of this sort are very difficult to make.

In our last post, we discussed how your mindset, and achieving peak performance is a big part of being a successful stock market investor. Today we are discussing some ways that you can learn how to become familiar with investing in the stock market.

Before you go out and throw your hard earned money at something you don’t know a lot about, it may be a good idea to do a course in investing, and learn some vital information from seasoned investment professionals.

If you have never participated in a stock market course, you may not feel it is worthwhile. Perhaps you haven’t yet started dabbling in the market or perhaps you have been Investing In The Stock Market for a while. In either case, there is much valuable information to learn from professionals.

Any time you are just getting started in a new venture, it is beneficial to take instruction from those who have learned the hard way. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. In the absence of an opportunity to sit down with a broker one-on-one and ask as many questions as you can, taking a stock market investing course is the next best thing.

Good Stock Market Investing Advice

Successful stock market investing takes time, experience, and money. While the first and last components are up to you, why not rely on someone else’s experience to aid in your personal success?

Course instructors may encourage their students to stay away from certain stocks which have been proven to be very risky. Such investments as ‘hot’ stocks and speculative (long shot) stocks are never a good idea, but particularly not for a novice.

Certainly no one can afford to lose their stake in today’s economy and there is no reason to buy chancy stocks. Investing In The Stock Market is something that you should take the time to learn, before going out and risking your hard earned money without having a solid strategy.

Besides just steering their students away from the types of investments to avoid, a good instructor will also advise them on best practices gleaned from their years of experience. Such key components to successful Investing as patience, steady portfolio development, and the proper response to bearish or bullish market trends are all things a student may learn in a stock market course.

The Business of Investing In The Stock Market

There is one thing that everyone will agree upon and that is the fact that successful investors not only learn all they can from a stock market course, but they treat trading as a business. Investing In The Stock Market must be more than a hobby, it needs to be considered a skill to be honed and constantly updated. Planet Wealth is an australian company that can get you on track in becoming a successful stock market investor.

In our previous posts, we have been talking about Investing In The Stock Market. I decided to write on a different topic today. After spending last weekend with Peak Performance coach Kurek Ashley, I realised that to become successful in anything, you need to change the way you think about yourself, and learn that NO is never an option.

Investing In Your Mindset

Mindset is a huge part of investing and too many people risk their entire portfolio based on things like greed and desire. There are many investors out there who will make great money on the stock market one week, and lose it all back the next week, because they get greedy, or just simply lose their focus. With the correct mindset and belief in yourself as a trader, you can learn to stop being greedy and think of yourself as being successful on a week to week basis. As Kurek Ashley says “The only way to fail at life is the failure to participate”

Who Is Kurek Ashley

Kurek Ashley is a Peak Performance life coach who goes out of his way to help people in their quest to become successful and gain what they truly deserve from life. Kurek Ashley is regularly hired by major companies, business executives and Hollywood stars to teach them how to get that extra 5% of performance that makes them excel in life.

Some of Kurek’s major accomplishments include:

  • Taking the Australian women’s beach volleyball team to the Gold Medal at the 2000 Olympic Games.
  • Holds the world record for the longest firewalk
  • Has starred in many Hollywood movies
  • Has worked with people such as: Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris and John Travolta
  • Best Selling author of “How Would Love Respond”

Scotty Smith & Kurek Ashley

I was lucky enough to spend last weekend with Kurek, firstly at a seminar where Kurek spoke to us about Peak Performance and self image, and secondly, I was lucky enough to go on a cruise with him on the Brisbane river. My reason for writing this article about Kurek Ashley here in my Stock Market blog, is to make readers understand that we all deserve more out of life, and I truly believe that from learning from people like Kurek Ashley, that we can become more successful in anything we choose, whether that be investing in the stock market, or something as simple as gaining more confidence in ourselves.

Below are some video’s of Kurek Ashley being interviewed by my mentor Sean Rasmussen. Sean is a living example of what you can get out of life when taking advice from someone like Kurek, as he is Seans mentor, and Sean is one of the most successful people I have ever met.

Investing during a Bearish Market – when stock prices are showing clear indications of declining, can be a great way for knowledgeable Investors to make a profit. Of course, for most people, this did not occur. But for a savvy few, the numerous turns of the markets from bearish to bullish presented some unique opportunities for gains during a Volatile Market.

It certainly helps to have the experience of learning how to anticipate these market trends. But it is also necessary to be in the proper position to take advantage of the bullish upswings which always follow the lowest bear markets.

Market Trends Over the Last Year

For most Investors, last year’s Dow Jones trend of experiencing frequent Bear Market lows was one not they had previously run across. Many Stock Market dabblers had no idea how to respond to the four subsequent bullish rallies that occurred. Professional Stock Market Traders, however, saw the opportunities and were able to take advantage of them.

Those four rallies were key indicators of confidence and optimism on the part of global Investors. Mostly this was due to financial news from the United States. The Stock Market was quick to rebound when pundits expected relief from the recessionary economy. Of course, the relief was too often short-lived, and the Bearish Market quickly returned.

Bearish Market Investment Strategy

Anyone who wishes to make money in a Bearish Market must understand three essential principles of Investing. These are:

  • Finding stocks which are poised to make the largest gains.
  • Buying them at exactly the right time.
  • Utilising discipline to sell when pricing is optimal.

Of course these three factors are always essential parts of Successful Investing, but even more so in the Bearish Market. Not everyone has lost money in recent months, but only those who understand the right strategies were able to realise a profit.
